Prime Minister met with the Polish Ambassador to Moldova

Ion Chicu held a discussion with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to the Republic of Moldova Bartlomiej Zdaniuk. During the dialogue, the Prime Minister informed the Ambassador about priorities of the government and objectives of the Government’s Action Plan for 2020–2023.

“Implementation of the actions provided for in the Association Agreement with the EU is a priority. We want to carry out reforms here in our country and maintain a strategic dialogue with external partners,” the head of the cabinet said. In this regard, the Prime Minister noted the government’s dialogue with the IMF and the EU.

“The government has committed itself to change situation in the Republic of Moldova, but we need the support of development partners to continue the reforms,” said Ion Chicu. Ambassador Bartlomiej Zdaniuk reaffirmed Poland’s interest and willingness to support the European integration of the Republic of Moldova and the country's modernization.
