The opening ceremony of the ICCICCICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to take place on either February 16 or 17, with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confident that Indian captain Rohit Sharma will attend the event.
According to a PCB source, they are awaiting confirmation from the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the schedule for the customary captains photo shoot and the pre-event press conference.
The eight-team tournament will kick off on February 19 in Karachi. However, India will play all their matches in Dubai, starting with a game against Bangladesh on February 20, as the team has declined to travel to Pakistan citing security concerns.
