India on Sunday withheld the accounts of former Pakistan Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan and Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on 'X' (formerly Twitter) in India.
The development comes amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam on April 22, which claimed the lives of 26 people, mostly tourists. A day earlier, the X account of Pakistan's information and broadcasting minister, Attaullah Tarar, was suspended in India.
A few days ago he had claimed that Pakistan has "credible intelligence" that India may carry out a military strike against it within 24 to 36 hours in view of the Pahalgam attack.
