India, Pakistan military officials to discuss next steps as ceasefire holds

The Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan on Monday held a scheduled conversation over the hotline, discussing key elements of a recent ceasefire agreement aimed at reducing cross-border tensions.

According to sources, the two top military officials reviewed the understanding reached between the two sides on May 10, which pertains to halting military actions and ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) and other sectors.

The dialogue, initially slated for 12 noon, began after a delay and concluded at around 5 pm. Details regarding the outcome or any concrete decisions from the discussion were not immediately available.
