Portals Of Badrinath Dham Open To Devotees, Temple Decorated With 40 Quintals Of Flowers

The portals of Badrinath Dham opened this Sunday morning and welcomed the devotees in an ambience filled with melodious tunes and spiritual chants. The ceremony was marked by the presence of the Indian Army’sIndian Army’sIndian Army’s Garhwal Rifles Band that played devotional melodies while flowers were showered upon the gathered devotees. At 6 AM, amid the chants of “Jai Badri Vishal,” the doors to the temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu were officially opened for the season.

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj spoke at the gathering and took the opportunity to express his joy on the occasion and urged devotees across the country to visit the holy shrine saying, “Today the whole country is happy. Devotees should come in large numbers to offer prayers at the Dham. Devotees experience spiritual bliss here.”

As part of the Char Dham Yatra 2025, which began with the opening of Gangotri and Yamunotri shrines on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. It was followed by the opening of Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham on 2nd May and 4th May respectively.
