Pune doctor in Porsche row arrested in 2022 kidney racket case

Pune police arrested Dr. Ajay Taware, previously suspended from Sassoon General Hospital, in connection with a 2022 kidney transplant case at Ruby Hall Clinic. Accused of misusing his position on the Regional Authorisation Committee to facilitate a kidney swap based on fraudulent documents, Taware was remanded in police custody until June 2.
