After special summary revision, Madurai district has 27,29,671 voters

After including 58,187 new voters and removing 32,351 voters during special summary revision held between October 29, 2024, and November 28, 2024, the total number of voters in Madurai district stands at 27,29,671.

Collector M.S. Sangeetha, in the presence of recognised political representatives, released the final voter list here on Monday.

The number of voters before the special summary revision stood at 27,03,835. In the revised voters list, the 13,89,224 women voters outnumber 13,40,159 men voters. There are 288 other voters.
