Water released from Miruganda and Shenbagathoppu dams for irrigation

The water level in the Papanasam dam on Sunday stood at 85 feet (the maximum level is 143 feet) with an inflow of 27.78 cusecs and a discharge of 200 cusecs. The water level in the Manimuthar dam stood at 85.65 feet (the maximum level is 118 feet) with an inflow of 55 cusecs and discharge of 45 cusecs.
