Bank holidays in December 2024: Check the state-wise list

India enjoys a variety of bank holidays throughout the year, encompassing national events, regional festivals, and other significant observances. These holidays are carefully scheduled by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), which also sets guidelines for Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) and determines specific account access restrictions for both public and private sector banks.

In addition to these scheduled holidays, banks in India will also observe statutory closures on the second and fourth Saturdays, as well as Sundays.

While physical bank branches will remain closed these days, customers can continue to access all online and digital banking services, ensuring that their financial transactions are not disrupted.
