Fire breaks out at shoe factory in Udyog Nagar in Delhi, no casualties

A massive fire broke out at a shoe factory in west Delhi's Udyog Nagar at 8.30 am on Monday morning. It is feared that four people are still trapped inside while six have been rescued so far. Search operations for the four missing people are currently underway.

As per Atul Garg, director of Delhi Fire Service, 31 fire tenders are present at the spot to control the fire. Fortunately, the fire has not spread to the surrounding units.

Two CATS ambulances have also reached the site. Fire fighting operations are underway and no casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
