MS Dhoni plays with IPL's new robotic camera dog in Lucknow
Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni was seen playing with a robot dog in Lucknow's Ekana Stadium on Monday, April 12. The legendary captain, who guided his team to their first win in 6 games, looked invested in IPL's latest technology, which is being used by the broadcasters to serve a better experience to the fans.
In a hilarious moment, MS Dhoni was seen stepping up to the robot dog and gently nudging it down from its feet. Since the dog could not get up on its own, the moment had the commentators in splits. After the game, the CSK captain was seen shaking hands with the dog and interacting with it. Dhoni liked the tech so much that he proceeded to carry it with him back to the dressing room.
MS Dhoni’s love for dogs is well-known. The former Indian cricket captain, often seen as calm and composed on the field, has a softer, affectionate side when he's around animals, especially dogs. At his farmhouse in Ranchi, Dhoni has a variety of pet dogs, including Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherds, and even a Labrador. He frequently shares moments with them on social media, from playing fetch to training sessions.
